Due to the amedments of Turkish visa regime, as of April 17, 2013 sticker visa was replaced by electronic visa and pursuant to this change and to facilitate for those visitors arriving to Turkey without a visa, interactive kiosks were placed at the İstanbul Atatürk Airport where electronic visas can be obtained.

As of October 29, 2018, these interactive electronic visa kiosks will be removed form İstanbul Atatürk Airport and obtaining visa upon arrival to Turkey will not be possible.

Therefore, travellers planning to travel to Turkey are advised to finalize their visa applications before their departure for Turkey. Please note that the sticker visa regime remains unchanged.

As per the current practice, applicants just need to log on to www.evisa.gov.tr
provide the requested information (after the application is approved) make online payment and download their e-visas in three minutes.
